The Havelradweg runs overall pleasant and mostly on good surface. Also interesting is the river itself because of its structure (sometimes "trickle", sometimes as wide as a lake) and the very special course first from north to south before the Havel then flows back north into the Elbe.

Nice and easy to drive and busy bike path, just in the main season, the way is well "filled". But along the Havel you can still rest ideal while you let your gaze wander over the Havel, with its boats and ships.
