Highest point of a beautiful ridge crossing between the Alpl and Krieglach. In contrast to many routes in the area with extremely high forest road shares of the way over Hochgölk and Gölkschneid is mostly led as a real hiking trail. The path mostly runs in the forest, but in between the view opens up again and gives the view from east to north, especially to the High Veitsch, free.
