The Schafloch is a natural rock tunnel at an altitude of around 1,750 m – a geological feature and a true highlight of the hike to the Sigriswiler Rothorn 🪨⛰️. The tunnel was originally formed by water and today offers an exciting passage with spectacular views of Lake Thun and the Bernese Oberland 🌄👀.Access: The entrance is only accessible on foot; it's part of the ridge hike. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required, as the path is exposed and narrow in places ⚠️🥾.Note: The path through the Schafloch is narrow and slippery when wet ⚠️ – sturdy shoes 🥾 and caution are a must! A headlamp or flashlight may be helpful 🔦.

Very beautiful cave, which was extended in wartime by the military and equipped with bunkers. Beautiful view from the isolated windows.
