The great little lake is one of the three rod ponds that are dammed here by the Schwarze Au. Unfortunately, the route from the railway line to the pond ends in a dead end because the path via the forest yard is closed to unauthorized persons. But it is still worthwhile to drop by here and enjoy the idyll.
