The stepping stones are definitely one of the main attractions especially for kids along the river walk. Make sure the water is low enough (or accept to get a bit of wet feet) when around with kids as the spacing is sometimes quite wide and the ones in between are lower. They can be a bit slippery when wet, but wearing proper shoes this should not be an issue.
