Café Bolzmacher is open Wed - Sun from 9am to 6pm. "Hike" (rather walk) does not require any special equipment. It goes over dirt roads through woods and moor meadows. 60 vertical meters are easy to handle.

The food in the Lamdgasthof Fischbach is excellent at moderate prices. The Café Bolzmacher in Hinterrothenhain is small but nice in a fantastic location in the middle of apple trees with a view of the mountains. Cake phenomenal.
