The journey culminates at the pristine Lago Vej del Bouc, a mountain lake reflecting the surrounding peaks and offering tranquil beauty.
Prepare for a demanding trek that requires good physical conditioning and sturdy hiking footwear. The estimated time to reach the lake from San Giacomo is around three hours, with the full loop taking about six hours. The best time to experience this trail is from late spring through early autumn, when the paths are clear of snow and conditions are ideal for exploration within the Maritime Alps Natural Park.
