Porta Santi Quaranta is one of the three gates of the sixteenth-century walls of Treviso. It is located at the end of Borgo Cavour. In the past it guaranteed access to the city from the west (Castelfranco and Vicenza, Padua, Feltre).

Considered a "younger sister" of Porta San Tomaso, it is located at the end of Borgo Cavour and therefore guaranteed access from the west (Castelfranco, Padua, Feltre). It has an Istrian stone façade with three arches, the central one being the largest. On the external façade, the representation that stands out above all is the winged lion, symbol of Venice's power on the mainland. It takes its name from the nearby church dedicated to the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste, the current Sant'Agnese. It was built in 1516, perhaps based on a design by Alessandro Leopardi, by the Venetian mayor Nicolò Vendramin who christened it "Porta Vendramina" by placing a self-celebratory plaque on it
