The burial mounds at Goloring date back to the Bronze Age and belong to a larger prehistoric burial site. They are located in the vicinity of the well-known circular ditch enclosure and show that the area was an important cultural and settlement landscape over 3000 years ago. Today, the mounds are still recognizable as gentle elevations in the forest and give an impression of the early settlement of the region.
