The Burgsteinfelsen is one of the most beautiful Bavarian geotopes, the display board number 3 at the rest area contains all information about the formation of the rocks on the Burgstein. The must-see rock is located directly on the Altmühl cycle path. Nice place for a break, in good weather there are often climbers to be admired on the rock.
