You walk beautifully through the Ötschergräben, past the Lassingfall to Ötscherhias (stop). Definitely go to Mirafall, back to Ötscherhias and over the Mühlbach to the Erlaufstausee.
From Mitterbach train station, take the Mariazellerbahn back to the starting station.

Hiking

Mitterbach train station – this is one of the many stops along the Mariazellerbahn (Mariazell Railway). The station is a perfect starting point for numerous hikes in the Ötscher Tormäuer Nature Park (for example, the Gemeindealpe is about an eight-minute walk from the chairlift valley station, and the Staplerhaus (the Ötschergräben entrance) is about 15 minutes away). Public transport on the Mariazellerbahn is convenient and always worth the trip.
