The Hauener Pütten are located about 4 km west of Greetsiel in western East Frisia, right next to the Pilsen lighthouse. The Kleipütten (approx. 47 hectares) were created as part of the "Leybucht coastal protection" construction project.

The Kleipütten are located just before Greetsiel coming from Ende on the coastal cycle path. It is asphalted and easy to ride.
There are also a lot of pedestrians here at the weekend. Consideration is advised
