A treaty between the Kingdom of Saxony and the Duchy of Saxonia-Altenburg of 24.5.1874 enabled the construction of the station. For the construction of the station was associated with numerous outdoor work, such as the laying and lowering of the city brook "blue tide". The station was built from 1876-1878. A beautiful reception building, where a closer look is really worthwhile.
