The areas between Żory and Orzesze are among the most picturesque in Upper Silesia. The luminous forests hide the blue eyes of the ponds, arranged in ancient centuries by the human hand on the Ruda River. Hence, this area is often called Palowice Lakeland - from the town of Palowice, located in its very center. The lake district is part of the Cistercian Landscape Compositions of Rudy Wielkie Landscape Park.

Cycling

Palowickie Lake District or Łańcuchowe Ponds - a nice place for cycling relaxation. There are also some nice single tracks, but you have to get off the main trail.
