The St. Ambrosius Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Ostbevern in the Warendorf district, North Rhine-Westphalia. The church and parish belong to the Warendorf deanery in the diocese of Münster. The church is located in the center of Ostbevern on the corner of Hauptstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse opposite the former "Saxenrast". The church bears the patronage of St. Ambrose of Milan.

"Presumably the first parish church was built in Ostbevern in 1194. The lower part of today's church tower probably also dates from this time.

The wooden country house of the church at that time was replaced at the beginning of the 16th century by a brick, three-bay Gothic hall with a three-sided choir.

In 1886 the church was expanded again, while the church tower was raised to a total of 60 m.

The church was expanded again in 1960/62. The new church space adjoins the church tower to the west.

The patron saint of the church is St. Ambrose. He was Bishop of Milan and died in 397. "
