Super beautiful nature. Kind of like an adventure playground. Please wear sturdy shoes.

The Hörschbachschlucht has been a 46.4 hectare nature reserve since March 1995!
A hiking trail (path) of around 2 km leads through the sometimes narrow and unspoilt gorge, through the water or over small bridges, from the lower "front waterfall" (5 m drop) to the upper "rear waterfall" (12 m drop). The "rear waterfall" was designated as a natural monument in 1965 with an area of 20 ha (50 m below and 50 m above)!
Natural monuments should not be larger than 5 hectares, which is why a nature reserve was applied for for the gorge that gives the area its name... www2.lubw.baden-wuerttemberg.de/public/abt2/dokablage/oac_12/vo/1/1208.htm www2.lubw.baden-wuerttemberg.de/public/abt2/dokablage/oac_12/wuerdigung/1/1208.htm de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hörschbach_(Murr)
