One of the most evocative places in Portovecchio is Villa Bombarda, now Furlanis. Typical example of a Venetian country villa, on two floors surmounted by a large tympanum, the building is already documented in 1661 as the property of the Venetian nobles Giulio Giustinian and brothers and was purchased around 1840 by the Bombarda family. Next to the villa there is a small public oratory, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows.
The villa is located along the banks of the Lemene, within a large park. The gates, always open, allow crossing on foot or by bicycle.
