One of the first things you'll notice when you enter Daiba Park is the high stone walls that surround it. With a height of 5 to 7 meters, these walls are among the remains of the No. 3 battery, for which the name Daiba Park was already known in the Edo period (1603-1867), when it was used as a military battery.

As you stroll through the park, you will find other remains such as an ammunition dump, an explosives store and the foundations of a barracks. Today the park is known for its relaxing views of the open water and beautiful cherry blossoms in spring. It is also one of the best places to photograph the Rainbow Bridge of Odaiba.
