But now you have to be careful that the owner doesn't let the dogs loose on you. I drove into the property and one jumped out to tell me in no uncertain terms that I had no business being here!

Hammer mill documented since 1348. It belonged to the dominion of Wildenstein Castle. The owner at the time was Nikolaus von der Grün, who bought Wildenstein Castle in 1318 and thereby became the ancestor of the Barons of Wildenstein, who were named after this castle.
