Even if at first glance it looks like you can't enter the area ... you can. The gate is usually unlocked because the area is a hotel complex. The Hubertusstock Castle itself contains some rooms and the dining room with terrace. During my visit, cutlery and plates were ready for visitors on the terrace. The former accommodation houses for state guests are now guest houses, some with their own breakfast rooms.

The whole area makes a very deserted impression, although a parked car could be seen at one of the guest houses.

You can also visit the Siegfried Fountain on the pond below the site, although Siegfried himself is no longer there.
