According to legend, it is dedicated to a virgin who should be begged for snow. However, the chances of it snowing on Lanzarote are so low that the villagers in the area ask for rain instead.
But it should have snowed a hundred more here.
Unfortunately, the church cannot be visited because it is rarely open.
