The Madonna della Neve Sanctuary is located at 757 meters and is dedicated to the Virgin of the Snow. This church today is a destination for pilgrims. From here it is possible to enjoy a panorama that includes the Gulf of Policastro, Sicily, the chain of the Apennines.

The Sanctuary dates back to the 17th century and was subsequently renovated, located in a wooded area called Santa Maria, facing Mount Trepidane and the valley of Mount Pietra del Cisso.
Today only a few ruins remain of the ancient cult structure. The church was declared a sanctuary by Monsignor Augusto Lauro in 1987, on the occasion of the Marian Holy Year.
The main festival is celebrated on August 15th.
It also represents the departure and arrival point of numerous excursions in the Pollino National Park.
