A pretty lake (or there are actually three small lakes that are one behind the other). There is a circular path for pedestrians and cyclists that leads around the lakes. You can go pedal boating here or make yourself comfortable on one of the benches or the extensive meadows that are at the lake. On the front lake (seen from the center of the village) there is a water fountain. The three lakes are fed by the stream Aue (in other areas the stream is called Stederau). From the confluence of the Stederau and Gerdau brooks, shortly before Uelzen, the river Ilmenau arises, which flows through the cities of Uelzen, Lüneburg and Winsen / Luhe and flows into the Elbe.
