Due to volcanic activity and impressive panoramic views – on a clear day, you have a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji – this area is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hakone. Owakudani is occasionally closed due to the emission of volcanic gases, so please inquire about this before your visit.
