The old road from Waldmünchen to Klensch led from Arnstein to Hasenbrückl in Oberhaselbach. In the border area, the historic road has disappeared. Only a few overgrown ravines reveal where carts used to be. From the Haselbacher Weiher the path went up to Schwarzbach, today Černá Řeka and further via Nepomuk. Parts of this road are still used today as forest paths, over which cycle path 2287 also leads.

The street gained importance from 1527. At that time, Emperor Charles V had a postal service set up from his seat of government in Prague to Waldmünchen. The correspondence was then distributed in Waldmünchen and forwarded to western European cities.
