The famous World Heritage island of Reichenau extends in the middle of western Lake Constance. It is a lovable, water-washed world of its own. Venerable island guardians are the three medieval churches. They once belonged to the Reichenau Monastery, where Benedictine monks did outstanding work. They have long been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In between, vegetables, herbs and wine thrive in the nurseries, on the fields and vineyards. And with every ringing of the bell, the triad of this special but completely calm island world sounds: naturalness, authenticity and closeness.
