Nordic walking

The Riekermolen is a polder windmill. The windmill originally stood in the Riekerpolder south of the village of Sloten near Amsterdam. The mill, which dates back to 1636, had to be demolished in 1956 due to the dredging of the Riekerpolder for the expansion of the Nieuwe Meer and was moved to the Kalfjeslaan on the Amstel in 1961.

Road cycling

Favorite spot for the Japanese/Chinese tourist to photograph typical Dutch scenes. A real working windmill and a statue of Rembrandt posing to be drawing outside (which he hardly ever did).
