The view is great - but it is still shocking how we create such a nasty desert from a great area.

The "hole" is insane. It's hard to imagine what it will look like as a lake.

At the terra nova café (open every day from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.) you can take a nice break and have an impressive view of the opencast mine.
The huge hole is supposed to fill up with water in the not too distant future, so that a huge lake is created. Let's wait and see ...
