Here you have a choice. Through the water or the little bridge that has steps.

Estinnes-au-Val [ɛstinoval] is a section of the Belgian municipality of Estinnes, located in the Walloon region in the province of Hainaut. Estinnes-au-Val was a municipality in its own right before the merger of the municipalities in 1977.

The first mentions of Estinnes-au-Val and Estinnes-au-Mont date from the 10th century. However, it was probably during the Merovingian period (not before the 6th century) that, for demographic or cultural reasons, the parish of Estinnes was divided into two. Is thus named the parish of Estinnes-au-Val (or Estinnes basse) the old Estinnes which remains consecrated to Saint-Antoine. Estinnes-au-Val is probably a century older than Estinnes-au-Mont (or high Estinnes) dedicated to Saint Rémi - on Mont Saint Rémi. This parish division is done without any degradation of the royal domain of Estinnes. This sort of thing is not unique in the management of the various royal domains of the Frankish kingdom; it should also be noted that some of them (like Chaource or Trosly-Loire) are divided into several parishes which also take the title of "high" and "low"
