Polling Monastery is a complex structure consisting of many buildings and building parts, which is essentially characterized by the impressive layout of the former Augustinian Canons' Monastery with its important collegiate church. Exceptional former collegiate church, Gothic hall from 1420 at its core, Renaissance remodeling in 1628 and Rococo renovation in 1765. Entrance hall from 1733 with the inscription "Liberality Bavaria". Furnishings by Hans Leinberger, Barth. Steinle, Joh. Bapt. Straub, F. X. Schmädl and Joh. Bapt. Baader.

Former monastery library hall, concert hall since renovation in 1975. The municipality was awarded the Europa Nostra Prize for the successful village renewal, especially in the monastery ensemble around the church square.

Access to the church is only possible up to the wrought iron gate (around 1760) under the organ gallery, otherwise guided tours are available by arrangement.

The Collegiate Church of the Holy Cross is a three-aisled Gothic hall church and was built between 1416-1420, after the former construction had fallen victim to a fire.
