NSU Victims Memorial Plaque (Trappentreustraße 4)

The right commemoration of the victims of the NSU (National Socialist Underground) was fought for a long time. Since 2013 a memorial plaque on Trappentreustraße 4 has been commemorating the 10 people who were murdered by the NSU. Theodoros Boulgarides died in the house on June 15, 2005 in his newly opened shop. He was 41 years old and left a wife and two children.
For 13 years, NSU members murdered people with a migration background for racist and xenophobic motives. Incorrect investigative approaches by the police delayed disclosure of the acts and put the relatives in a bad light.
Another memorial plaque for the second Munich victim of the NSU - Habil Kılıç - is located in Ramersdorf, Bad Schachener Straße 14.

A sad occasion. It's good that the memory of it has been preserved. It's frightening how the terror affected us afterward.
