The Baltic Sea resort Prerow has a very well-developed municipal harbor, which also acts as a water migration rest area. It is located on the Bodden side at the end of the Prerow stream.
Due to its great commitment to the environment, the port has been awarded the European environmental label "Blue Flag" for several years in a row.
Also, the harbor has as a widely visible symbol of the "yellow wave", which means a better recognition of the landing facility and information about an excellent equipment of the investor or the port as well as tourist facilities and attractions in Prerow. The port of Prerow has been awarded four stars in 2007 due to its good facilities.
Water riders, rowing boats, motorboats and kayaks can be rented from the Prerow River, and it is possible to go on Boddenrundfahrten with passenger ships from here.
