Tips
The port of Eckernförde stretches from the beach to the two warehouses. There are mostly sailing boats and sailing ships moored by the beach. Further towards the warehouse, the first port is the fishing port. This is where the cutters and fishing boats dock and you can buy fresh fish or crabs directly from the ship from some of the cutters. This is followed by the marina with motorboats and sailing boats.
This section is divided by the wooden/bascule bridge. This is still in use. However, biking on it is prohibited.translated by
