The Floitengrund, also called Floite, is a side valley that made history. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Floitenschlagstaude lived here, a widow with 9 children who tried to feed her family by poaching. She was caught doing this several times, but each time she was able to free herself from the situation with her resourceful mind.
