From La Spezia you come home relatively comfortable. In addition, you can take the trains from here to the towns of Cinque Terre, which are only 15 minutes away.

Overall, the station is well-organized.
Obviously, it's very busy due to tourism.
There's only ONE staffed counter on site where you can book train tickets for Cinque Terre. 🙈 We ended up buying online while waiting in line. That would be my recommendation right from the start. It makes things much more relaxed. :)
