Road Cycling Highlight
A cycle path has largely been laid out on the eastern side of the lake. The idea behind it is very good - because the main road is sometimes very busy. However, the pavement is partly damaged and the path is interrupted from time to time due to work. Well suited for slower tours, as a racing cyclist I would still recommend the road if necessary.

The fourth largest lake in Italy leads a shadowy existence - because of its famous neighbors Lake Garda and Lake Como. It really does not have to hide Lake Iseo. Clear water and perfect bike paths around the lake make every biker's heart beat faster. And: one does not speak German.

Lake Iseo has nothing to envy the Como or Garda lakes.
Great 60 km loop around the lake, all flat.
I'd suggest you to take the beautiful Bike path Ciclabile Toline-Vello, starting from the village of Pisogne.
In August and during the sunny weekends be cautious as it is shared with pedestrians.

Attention! The pedestrian and bicycle path is closed again and again and currently (September 2020) due to falling rocks and repairs. Then there is no path along the lake, as the tunnels of the main road are closed to bicycles. Suddenly you are faced with barriers. All that remains is a train ride from Pisogne to Marone or vice versa.

The cycle / pedestrian path starts at the end of the small inhabited village of Vello di Marone where, after the houses, the road ends arriving at a barrier placed in front of the first part of the short tunnels along the route.
The road, therefore closed to traffic, is all paved, flat and comfortable, being about 3 meters wide.
It winds along the lake shore for about 5km enjoying the excellent landscape characterized by the water below on one side and by the rocky walls on the other.
