Summit Cross and Bivacco Locatelli–Milani–Scaioli, Monte Due Mani

Despite its modest height (1655 m), Monte Due Mani is a very panoramic peak. Located at the southern entrance of Valsassina, it offers an interesting point of view on the Grigne, located towards the West, on the whole of Valsassina, on the Orobie, on the city of Lecco, on its lake, on the Brianza lakes (Pusiano, Annone and Garlate) and over the Po Valley, up to the Piedmont Alps and the Apennines on the clearest days.
The Locatelli bivouac is located on the top, where it is possible to stay overnight with a mattress and sleeping bag.

Visited on a very cloudy day and there was a thunderstorm shortly after. Despite the low altitude we had the opportunity to see the clouds passing between the ridges.

Crampons are needed in winter
