The JBF center is about 10 km above Obernkirchen in a beautiful, secluded location. The surrounding forests of the Bückeberg and the nearby Dino tracks in the sandstone quarries in Obernkirchen enable numerous excursion and hiking opportunities.With 170 beds in different categories, a self-catering area and a campsite, the house offers a whole range of accommodation and catering options. There are also four group and five seminar rooms, a multi-purpose hall and a cozy fireplace room. The outdoor area offers numerous sports and leisure opportunities with a sports field, extensive lawns and a fireplace.

The information booth is the official starting point of the dinosaur and nature trail. It also serves as a huge shelter on the grounds of the youth center.
