On the western side of the Saxon forest runs the fairytale-like valley with its mystical alluvial forests. The Bille pulls as a crystal clear cold water stream with wil-the riparian vegetation their loops. On the doctor bridge north of Aumühle you dive into the world of the forest river. Here live kingfishers and dippers. There are many stories about the adjacent Sachsenwald. The largest contiguous forest area of Schleswig-Holstein is still in the family estate of Bismarck. The traces of the old Chancellor can be found everywhere.
