Since ancient times the chapel has stood alone in the wreath of mighty linden trees on the "Siesperter Höhe", the old town center of Sinspert is further down. Houses have only moved closer to you since the last world war.

The chapel was built in the 12th century in the Romanesque architectural style. It is in the 12th and 13th centuries when the Romanesque style gradually passed into the Gothic style.
In Old Catholic times this was a pilgrimage and processional chapel and is dedicated to Maria Magdalena as the patron saint.

Mountain biking
