    This viewpoint is a perfect example of how an industrial past can be transformed into a wonderful place to enjoy the natural world. A coal mine was once here and this little summit is the soil heap!

    The Forestry Commission have turned it into a brilliant viewpoint, bird watching area and, of course, a great snack stop just off the Family Trail.
