Hiking
On the initiative of Mayor Krüger (died on November 3rd, 1873), the "Maze" was created in 1845 with donations from wealthy citizens, as can be seen in the memorial stone in the park. The formerly desert place served as a "racing field" for knight tournaments, later as a woodpiling area and until the beginning of the 19th century as a mulberry plantation.
