In 1993, Josef Riedlsperger erected a cross at this beautiful vantage point as a thank you to the Lord for the recovery of his grandson Bernhard. He engraved the following poem:"If you have troubles in life,
don't always stay at home,
I would like to advise you,
go out into nature.Climb the mountain
and talk to the Lord.
It will be much easier for you,
when you then go home.
