If you are in the area of the Okertalsperre and have to go in the direction of the peat house, you will find a relatively easy route with a consistent incline. The path is well developed, consists of gravel or asphalt and always runs along the creek Kellwasser. At almost 700 m altitude, after leaving the hardest behind you, you will be rewarded on the slope of the Dehnenkopf with a magnificent view (see photo) of the Nordenharz!
