Tips
This lake is the largest of all 17 Pivka intermittent lakes. Its watery
the area measures 1km2, and at the highest water level it even reaches 2km2.
In Lake Palška, water is retained for an average of three months a year. When the water from Lake Palga
flows into the neighboring Petelinjsko Lake or into Trnski izvor in the valley of the river Pivka, remains for
the lake is just a large meadow without watercourses, which the locals mow and graze cattle on it.
