The history of the Höckendorf seminar and sports hotel "Zum Erbgericht" dates back to the Middle Ages. The inn was first mentioned in the church chronicle in 1542. The oldest official document dates back to 1874.

The former compound feed factory (formerly a sawmill) has become a seminar and sports hotel. The lower floor, known as the Theler Passage, already has a good reputation with a wide range of shops and services.
