Mountain biking
Leads from Martinstein via the Flachsberg nature reserve to Simmertal.
The entrance to Martinstein is very difficult to see. Located directly to the left of the Bock electronics store. Then it goes steeply up the mountain.

Mountain biking
The 5.5 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1980, extends southeast of the local community Simmertal and west of the local community Martinstein. The B 41 runs along the southern edge of the area, and the Nahe flows not far to the south.
The protection purpose is the preservation of the Flax Mountain with its sub-Mediterranean dry grassland, its species-rich plant communities and as a location for rare plants for scientific reasons.
