“The Schinderhanneshöhle is located in the Hunsrück, around one kilometer west of the former horse field and around two kilometers northeast of Seesbach in the Hoxbachtal (also called Gaulsbachtal). The cave got its name because it is said to have been the hideout of the robber Schinderhannes. The Schinderhanneshöhle is relatively small at 13 meters in length. "
