The Hanweiler saddle is a short but crisp rise from the north. For the width of the road here is a lot of traffic.

The slope from the south is very moderate with a road-side bike path. From the north (Hanweiler) the upper area is steep (~ 15%). At the saddle itself is a large trail parking lot, beer garden and meeting place for downhillers and Lauftreffs. Therefore, here is something more going on than.

{The picture shows the Hanweiler saddle coming from Korb. }The driveway coming from Winnenden & Hanweiler is tricky:
follows in Hanweiler the road and not the bike path direction cemetery.
A crisp increase (up to 17%).
Wikipedia leads the "Hanweiler saddle" as a passport.
It is worthwhile in any case, because the view on the descent to Korb and the Remstal is wonderful!
