Blüemlismatt Mountain Restaurant

The restaurants and the grounds are really nice. After a hike a ham sandwich or a nice meal after work - just recommended

From Egerkingen SO, drive towards Fridau/Bärenwil. Above Fridau, you will soon see a pit on the left-hand side, where you can park easily.
From here you hike to the "Hohe Fluh"; a beautiful place with a view of the Alps. Continuing down the ridge is rewarded with another highline. You hike over the "Schlosshöhe" towards Holderbank, where you will soon see the ruins of the "old Bechburg". After a short while, turn left down to the "Blüemlismatt" restaurant, which is very popular in Switzerland and really lives up to its name. You can really indulge yourself here. The rest of the hike starts just a few meters below the mountain restaurant. Go up to the left and after about 300m it's just down to the car park.
A wonderful short hike for anyone who has a bit of stamina.
